I$ki was born and raised in a little neighberhood called Brakkeput on the beautiful island of Curacao.
At the age of 12 I$ki starts to get seriously involved into DJing. He then saved some money and bought
his first Technics turntable. From that point he started collecting Rub a Dub and Reggae (as they called
Spanish reggae/reggaeton also) on vinyl. The basement, which was also his brother's room, served as his practice sanctuary. The many hours of practice became the source of annoyance to his parents because of all the noise.

As I$ki continued developing his DJ skills, he started to compete in DJ battles at the local high schools and
spinning Bubbling (fast dancehall) at house parties. Soon I$ki caught the attention of the other DJs because of his young age and his skills. Before he knew it, the white young kid from Brakkeput got invited to play in
the hottest clubs side by side with the local professional DJ's. At the age of 19 (1999) Iski recorded a song
with a few friends called "Lancer". A senseless song that quickly caught the attention of a vast amount of people, because of its funny and explicit content. Word spread and the song and its producers became notorious, although almost nobody knew who these guys really were. Hated by parents, loved by their teenage fans.

Because of the release of their album, la Teoria 29-9 in the U. S. he shared stage with big names in the game
like Pitbull, Tego Calderon, Lil'Jon and more, also getting airplay in Puerto Rico the U. S. and most of south and central America.

Nowadays Iski is producing music for his click IMMORALES and many more artists in the urban scene specialized in hip hop and reggaeton.
